About the artist

Welcome to my website! I’m Julia Ip, an illustrator, designer, and hobbyist photographer from the ever-inspiring Southern California area. I received my BFA in Illustration and a minor in Journalism from California State University Long Beach in 2017. I also received my Masters of Science in Learning, Design, and Technology at Pepperdine University, Class of 2023.

I’m so excited to display my work on this platform, and moreover to share pieces of my heart with you. With bright and vibrant color palettes through my use of watercolors, ink, marker, color pencil, and graphite, my hope is for my work to move you towards a sense of wonder and a desire for abounding joy.

The process of creating anything and showing the world is a vulnerable one, but so is the journey of an artist that I have embraced. Nevertheless, thank you so much for checking out my website!
